Miss Rikki had an AWESOME agility weekend. I've only been running her in a class called FAST where I could make up my own course, doing obstacles that she likes, and jumping her one class lower than her regular height class. Well, it took awhile, but she got her title in FAST, so I moved her to the regular classes, jumpers and standard, in her normal height class (20") This weekend was her first time jumping 20" a trail and in regular classes. While she still isn't super confident, she did AWESOME!! Saturday, she took 1st in standard and 2nd in jumpers. Sunday took 1st in jumpers and while she should have Qed, the judged called a fault on me (a guy that runs is going for his judging card and told me the judge was wrong in calling the fault) She still isn't anywhere near as fast as class, but that will come in time. I got one video of her standard run on Saturday. Frankie didn't have her best weekend, she doesn't do well in heat, but she managed 2 Qs, one each day. I pulled her from her 2nd run on Sunday, she just wasn't having fun. I took Marshall & Rosie with me on Sunday. It was our first trial since Rosie retired, and she enjoyed seeing her fans, getting treats and scratches. Marshall did great, got to meet a bunch of people and totally wore himself out. What fun. I have gotten so lazy with FB, just using the like buttons but well done with Rikki, you have done wonderfully with increasing her confidence around new people. Agility looks and sounds like so much fun.
