That's great dl. I love to walk my Sugar, it's a great way to exercise the horse as well as yourself and spend time together.

DL, the elliptical is for training my heart. It's not full out for the entire time, just a minute at a time. And then slow way down until the heart rate is back to normal, then do it again. It has paid off already in just endurance in a short period of time, which is amazing. And I don't run... LOL My knees won't hold up to that or jogging short of being on the elliptical.

I can't run or jog OR do the eliptical, it starts hurting my back. Plus I hate running or jogging anyway. For my heart I walk up hills (or the treadmill set on a steep incline). That used to hurt my back, but not anymore! YAY!

I didn't do organized walking today but here is what I did: I went Garage Saling for 6 hours or so. There were community garage sales where I would park the car and walk a couple blocks then go back to the car and move it to another location and do the same thing again.
