Yummy...it's fresh strawberry season. ;D 1 cup sugar 2 cups water 3 tablespoons corn starch 1/2 teaspoon salt large box strawberry jello mix all in saucepan--bring to raging boil, stirring occasionally. Set to side let cool (not completely, but no longer scalding). Cut up fresh strawberries, layer in two graham cracker pie shells. (about 2 quarts). Once cooked mixture has cooled enough, pour over top of strawberries. Put in refrigerater to set (a few hours or overnight). Top with cool whip or whipped cream before serving. Easy and delicious.
