Every September I stock up on toilet paper so I don't have to spend money on it over the winter.
Yesterday I picked up a 36 (double roll) package of Angel Soft for $16
I have NEVER paid that much for any size package of toilet paper.
Ridiculous.
Angel Soft is the cheapest t.p. I can buy. I have chosen to go with that brand because it breaks down the fastest ... best for septic systems.

Isn't it ridiculous? I mean really--when you think about it's purpose, it's just crazy to have to pay those prices.
I use Scott--seems to last us the longest and I feel like I'm not running out every other day for TP.
I coupon--and wait until I see it on sale. This week, Harris Teeter has it on sale for 5.99 for 8 rolls--and I have a coupon for 1 off so I'll get 8 rolls for 4.99. Still high--but every little bit of savings helps and a couple of packs will last us quite some time.
I feel ya. EVERYthing is so high--but I despise spending big $ on TP--and laundry detergent. Drives me bonkers!

We use Scott, too. It says on the package that it's septic-safe. When we were on city sewer we used Charmin.
I can't remember how much we pay. I do know I got sticker shock when I bought paper towels yesterday. It was $16 for the big package (I think a 12-pack?).

Ha, this reminds me of a story we heard because our friend's children told our children who told us.
Friends have five girls and the father was appalled at all the toilet paper being used and tried to get the mom to ration out how many squares they could use each time. Of course all the little girls told our big girls and we still laugh over the toilet paper rationing problem.
We use tons of tp. Maybe we should ration here!!

Now *that* is funny!! I guess I'm lucky I'm the only girl in the house--but we still go through it. Our little boy thinks it's great he can go get tissue and wipe his own nose now--and then flush it. lol.

I don't look at the price. Honest. It's something one has to have, and looking would just make me crazy. Although it does seem like we need to develop a new use for junk mail.
