This is so good on crackers or even dinner rolls. It has been served by the local restaurant for over 35 years as their appetizer with almost every meal. It makes a lot, you might want to cut it in half.
LIVER PASTE
2 packages of Branchweiger liver paste (package is about 6 inches long)... 2 pounds total
2 packages Lipton Onion Soup mix (generic won't taste the same)
1 medium onion ... grated
1 pint sour cream... one pound
1/8 tsp tabasco sauce
1 tsp worcestershire sauce

Snaffle
I made this for my After The Holidays Wind Down Party for my dancing friends. They LOVED it! I forgot the recipe when I was buying at the grocer store. Once I saw the 6" packages I figured 2 should be enough. BTW 2 packages only came up to 1 pound, but your right it still made a LOT.
