I ran today, shins were a little ouchy so I'm going to repeat the week 5 workouts for my other two runs this week. I'll do my video tonight or tomorrow, since otherwise tomorrow is a rest day!

Did my video today...a couple of days late, lol. Will run tomorrow if it's not raining. Shins feel ok today when I flex my legs at least.
Ordered a couple of cookbooks...centered around the McDougall diet. It's a vegetarian diet and I want to start focusing on healthy non-animal meals for myself. I just find myself not feeling like eating meat more and more which has left me with green smoothies and cereal. Except now our blender broke so it's back to just cereal (with almond milk). So hopefully this helps me kick the cereal habit.

Ran and did a video today. Ran 10 minutes, walked 5 minutes, ran 10 minutes. Pretty much on schedule. Shins felt pretty good. Going back to comfrey salve today to try to make sure they stay that way! One more run and one more video, then I'm done with week 6!!! 6 more weeks of Chalean extreme and three more weeks of couch to 5k after this week. My plan is to do the last week of couch to 5k for a couple of weeks after I finish and then slowly start adding a 4th day of running each week as long as my shins are ok.

Finished week 6 of Couch to 5k and ChaLEAN Extreme today! Ran 22 minutes straight while pushing Logan and my shins are still doing well. I walked for another hour after that since Logan fell asleep in the jogging stroller. Jilly was done walking after 20 minutes so I put her back in the house at the 45 minute mark and walked a little more.
Formulating a plan for eating right now and will being enacting it in a week or so.

Ran 25 minutes straight today! Did 2.66 miles including the 5 minutes of walking to warm up. Then C and I walked for another hour or so, did a total of 5ish miles according to GPS. Skipped the video today due to my cold and will do it tomorrow instead.

Yesterday was the start of week 7 for couch to 5k, today was the start of week 7 for ChaLEAN Extreme. I am halfway through the video series now. Tomorrow is a run and maybe a video, we'll see.

I ran today...2.5 miles in 25 minutes. C couldn't run with me because his knee hurt, but I had lots of awesome music on my Ipod so Logan and I were ok. Shins felt really good. After the run C and I walked 1.25 miles with Logan in the jogging stroller and Jilly on the leash. Last night I realized I can wear size medium belts now, which before I could only wear size large belts, woohoo!

Did a weight video today...I'm actually up to lifting heavier than Chalene on a few of the exercises. In the beginning I was barely lifting as heavy as the girl demonstrating modified exercises, big change in seven weeks! One more week of the Push phase, then it's on to the lean phase. I'm excited because I've been on a couple of fitness boards looking around and it's common for people to not lose weight on the first two segments...I definitely look better and am almost looking thin in the mirror, but I'd still like the number on the scale to move! Hopefully the lean month does that for me.

Had an amazing run with C last night. 25 minute run, almost finished 2.5 miles in that time. Then we walked an additional half mile. I'll probably take today off and do a video tomorrow. Maybe a run too.

I did a 28 minute run today and a weight video, both went really well. Week 8 has begun!

Omg, running without the jogging stroller is like running with rocket boosters! My goal is 11:00/mile and today I was running 9:30/mile without even trying. 28 minutes later and I felt amazing. One more run for week 8 and then it's time for week 9...30 minutes each day and that's the last week!!!!

After my last run (the last one of week 8 so one more after my last posted run) my knees started hurting again...and my pelvis was hurting too (pain just radiates down my inner thighs when this happens), and my knees have hurt every single day since then, even when I don't do anything. I'm going to try running tomorrow though...it's depressing to be in pain and unable to do anything about it. I hate hypermobility, especially since it let me get so far into an exercise program and then poof, brings it to a grinding halt. The frustrating thing is that I haven't changed anything.
