Down 1 1/2 pounds.
total 11 1/2 `down and a bunch more to go.
This weekend will be hard. Sammy (2 yr old grand daughter is coming) and I am planning on pancakes, Johnny cake (corn bread) cheese curds and home made chocolate chip cookies.
I bought a 20 pound turkey yesterday. As soon as it is thawed I will be roasting it and bagging up lots of turkey for the freezer so I can take out a bag with a couple of days worth at a time.
Turkey and the green beans from the freezer are helping me save on our grocery bills this winter AND helping me drop some weight.

I gained 1.8 - but I knew I would because I was so sick and lost so much last week. I'm still down around 12 pounds - think I have to buy new sweat pants already - mine seem to be starting to fall off. My coats are fitting way looser and I can walk upstairs without getting out of breath.
Way to go Snaffle - keep it up and have fun this weekend.

Jane - that's great, isn't it wonderful when you can catch your breath so much easier.
I am down 1 lb this week. I'm trying to plan meals with supplies I already have around the house for the next couple weeks so it may become interesting.

Great job ladies! I was down .8 at my meeting yesterday. Slow and steady wins the race, eventually

Sounds like all of you did great! janepain, a little gain like that one, after a big loss when you were sick is not much. You have still done great. Most likely could be needed water that was lost while sick. Vicki are you doing WW ? MJ I too am trying to use up what I have in the freezer. The turkey was meat I had to buy. Thank heavens I have frozen vegies from the garden. I really need to be able to cut back on expenses this time of the year.

I was SOOO bad last week during the blizzard.
Do the words "piggy piggy" mean anything to you?
I was snowed in from tuesday morning until thursday afternoon. Baked a couple of desserts.
Scale was up FIVE pounds. (I know there are some of you who can relate to this )
This week I am behaving myself. Eating sensibly. Trying to drink more water. Drinking a quart of cran-water every day. I think it should be much more than that.

Isn't it frustrating when this happens to us? I was thinking, this little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home. Did you eat the Roast Beef? I know it wasn't "none". LOL
I have that problem too with eating when stuck inside. I know you'll do better this weighin.
