This morning I told DH that I have now dropped 10 pounds since New Years. I added that since we did not have a bunch of goofy snacks during the game yesterday, I actually had a weight DROP instead of a weight GAIN. We shared a pizza around 2, added black olives and mushrooms to it. I was not hungry when dinner time came so I skipped it. I calmly told him that everytime I try to diet, I feel like he is doing the Bill-Martha thing (his parents who always sabatoged each other's diets) every time I loose weight. He said he didnt realize he does that. We have had this same conversation in the past. Many times. He will be careful for the next few weeks. Then he will change his strategy. I hope I am prepared.

He's a man. They don't remember what doesn't affect them. Seriously. Mine does the same thing, if something he does bugs me or is an anti-help, he'll really try, make an honest effort, but he slips back within a few weeks. I don't think they can help it! But you know he'll do it, so make sure to prepare yourself. You just have to be double-strength to withstand!

Mine would do the same thing, my Mom too. They loved me to lose weight but it was too easy for them to sabotage it. Sure wish they could now.
