Ohh now thats cool. If I go on steroids I going to HAVE to get back on track with this or weigh 900 lbs. Sigh. How come one of the symptoms you get with this darn this is weight loss and I GAIN weight? Grrr...Course I guess I could look at it like wonder how much I would have gained if I wasn't sick? Ekkks.

I just returned from my meeting. The new plan seems fantastic! It takes into account much more than just calories, fat, and fiber. Everyone's basic points allowance went up. Wooo hoooo! But, so did the new points values of most products. I love the fact that fruits and veggies are free! I think there new plan is going to work really well. I have essentially maintained since this summer. I am hoping this will remotivate me to stay on track. I normally get frustrated when the uncontollable munchies/ "I have to eat NOW!" voices start talking to me I am hoping this new start will get me going again. It is going to be a pain recalculating all my favorite recipes again though. I have lost 3 pound since I last weighed in before our trip to CO, WY, and NE 2 weeks ago, so hopefully I will be able to keep my extra motivation going to give the new plan a try.

Just got back from my meeting. I'm excited, it's going to take some getting used to but definitely has some great ideas.

I am glad to hear that. I think wW is great about evolving, to keep improving. What this essentially is saying is that 100 calories isn't just 100 calories. A banana is alot better for you then a 100 calorie snack pack of cookies and they are designing the program to reflect that reality. I might actually rejoin!

Tee inspired me to rejoin (online) too! I am still learning this, but it seems to me it is encouraging the low GI approach that I found worked great on nutrisystem.

I really like it so far. It is really encouraging me to eat healthier instead of within my points allowance. I have eaten more fresh fruits this past week than I have eaten all month.

Vicki, LOL I have done exactly the same thing with the fruit. It is also forcing me to really stop and look at what I am having and if it's worth it or not.

I made a discovery today... squash, pumpkin are also zero points. this opens up a lot of possibilities!
Corn, peas, potatoes, yams, canned fruit, avacodos - all still have point values - any other veggies and fruits?

Since I did nutrisystem, I was eating a lot of fruit and veggies, I liked that about that program.
