I know I have said many times that I am going to do this and that and then don't stick with it long. So today my friend and I joined Weight Watchers because we can help each other stay on track and I need the accountability that the meeting offers. So far, I really liked the leader. It's about 10-15 minutes from my house and it is a main office so I could go other days if the need arises. I feel miserable, look terrible and just overall don't feel good about myself. So, please help me be accountable.

Hey, I'm proud of you! WW is a great program, and being on it with a friend will help a lot. BTW, start planning your holiday outfits now. You're going to look fabulous.

Congrats MJ! I have been going to WW meetings since last September. I love the meetings. I make myself go no matter what. The hardest part of the program was deciding to walk into the office for the first time. I have lost 40 ponds since I started. The last few months have been really slow. I just keep reminding myself that slow progress is an overall weight loss trend. I also don't beat myself as much as I used to for going off plan every so often. Now, I just brush my boots off and get back in the saddle...errr on plan I still have about 60 more pounds to go. Hopefully this time next year I will only be 20 pounds away from my goal. As long as I am continually improving my health and fitness I will be successful. Please keep us posted or if you need any suggestions, I am only a keyboard away. Vicki

That is great Vicki. You are truly an inspiration, I am proud of you for doing so well.
I have about 60 lbs to lose to be at the top of my range so I know it will definitely take a while. My DH will benefit from the meals I prepare also and I am sure it will help his health also just as it will mine.
