Just got back from a high stress business trip. I was really worried about eating healthy, that can be hard as you have less control then at home. I wasn't perfect, but stayed in line with my plan and came back with a loss not a gain! woo hoo!

yes, because this low GI eating seems to have really reduced food cravings. I had some concerns about being exposed to foods that caused cravings again.
My son thinks Nutrisystems works well too. He told me he's lost about 10 pounds since I started! He said it is lots of veggies and lack of food around the house that tastes good...lol.
Actually, he isn't far off. About the time I decided to start NS, I was reading David Kessler's book about why we have such an overweight problem. Bottom line is simple - far too easy access to very palatable food that is too high calorie/fat etc. He really focused on that whole palatable food "in your face" and how some people are much more influenced by just having it around (or adverstised to us etc). They had actual experiments that proved this - it isn't just our imagination. anyway, it is an interesting experiment in our house because Riley is 18, has his own money, nothing stopping him from procuring "high cal - high fat" food. Just me not baking bread, not buying favorites etc there is just less interesting food readily available.
