I combined the ingredients from two recipes and created my own. It is super yumaaay!
Tuna Casserole
1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles (I prefer the Kluski brand) ¼ cup chopped onion One clove garlic 2 cups milk 2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese 1 cup frozen peas 2 (6 ounce) cans of tuna, drained 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 cup fresh sliced or cut up mushrooms ½ cup melted butter One stalk celery diced or chopped ¼ cup flour Salt and pepper to taste French’s french fried onions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the noodles in the boiling water for about 8 minutes or until done and drain.
If you don’t care for bits of onion or garlic in your foods, you can put them in a blender with the milk and puree them.
Mix all the ingredients together and put into a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle French fried onions over the top.
Bake for approximately 30 to 45 minutes or until you think it is done.

This sounds great! I'm always looking for good recipes during Lent. I think we'll have this on Friday this week.

I bet this'd taste great with salmon too, and boost the omega 3s in the diet. Great recipe Snaffle!
