The Baking powder dusting is used over a treatment because it helps keep the treatment covered & protects the wound🤗😁👍

Dr. Pol (Vet in MI) recommended it for an open wound on a horse's open wound on the jaw. Skin had already died, no healthy flesh to suture, so told lady to flush with sterile water and dust with baking powder. My favorite Vet!!!
