I am always on a quest for a good chocolate chip cookie. Here is my latest find. It is so good I don't think I'll ever buy chocolate chip cookies from my favorite shop again. My testers- Jeff and his boss, agree that these are easily as good or better than the ones I usually buy them. Yes it is that good!
Chocolate Chip Cookies
4 1/2 c flour 2 tsp baking soda 2 c butter 1 1/2 c packed brown sugar 1/2 c white sugar 2 3.4 oz pkgs of instant vanilla pudding 4 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 4 c chocolate chip cookies 4 c chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350F. Use ungreased baking sheets or parchment paper.
Cream the butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and blend well. In another bowl, sift together the dry ingedients. Slowly mix the butter and flour mixture until incorporated. Add the chocolate chips. Blend well. Make balls about the size of small golf balls. Place on cookies sheets and bake for about 10-12 minutes until lightly brown. Remove and cool. Store in a container with a tight fitting lid and the cookies will remain soft.
Makes about 80 cookies.
3 points each. Well worth it I think! ;D
Forgot to mention that it is 3 points without the walnuts. I don't know what it would be with.
