Go to your photo hosting site and open a photo so that it is big, not a thumbnail. then right click on the photo. That will give you a menu at the bottom of which will say "properties." Click on properties and you'll see a screen that will give you a URL and other into. Highlight and copy that URL then come to this board.
On your message, open the little box that looks like a picture frame. It's in the little symbols above the big area where you write your message. Click on that and it will put (img)(/img) except the ( will [. In the space between the two, paste your url. It should look like this
(img)yourphotourlhere(/img)
that should do it.
Oh Shutterfly and Yahoophotos don't seem to work here.

God love ya, chris, it just must be your lot in life to befriend the handicapped, lmao! I DO NOT understand this process. My photos are on my yahoo mail, in a folder. HOW THE HELL do I get them here??? totally lost, gf...it worked on ABH, but am in the ozone about doing it here...sorry to be such a pc dumbass, but there ya go...just try to imagine how much you will LOVE ME when I get my book published and I can pay the WHOLE bill for you and me to go to the Polish Nationals and Sale? yahoo mail won't work here. You need to upload them to a photo hosting site like photobucket, snapfish, imageshack, etc.
Most of these photo hosting sites are free. I think a lot of people here use photobucket.

groan...have I ever mentioned how much I adore learning new things on a PC??? NO? Well, that's because I DON'T!! *&^%$#@! I got the (*&^%$#@! photos onto snapfish, or whatever it's called, but have no clue now how to get them here. Per the instructions above, I must go through this ENTIRE process for each and every single photo I want to get posted here? geeeezzz...never mind....we will just have to talk about the cowponies...no way on God's earth I would ever be able to figure THAT out...oh, well, it was a nice thought...thanks for trying, gf, you are the few, the chosen, the brave, lol! To do a new thread, start on a main page that lists several thread titles. For instance, from here, you could click on the word "Equifriends". Then look above the threads for a "new thread" button.
Pictures - what website are your pictures on now?

Dorothy they're on www.snapfish.com/ I opened the picture to full size , then right clicked on properties..... got the url, then I clicked on the little picture frame that brings up (img)(/img),pasted the url in it, still nothing. Hummn, I don't know what I'm doing wrong........   |

I just in the last couple of weeks learned how to post pix using Photobucket and I've had my 'puter 7 yrs or so. "My Pictures" is the first step to get the pic on the hard drive. I only know how to use Photobucket. At Photobucket click on one of the browse buttons your pic location should come up; click on a pic then click "open". Then click "upload". No need to title unless you just want to. DO NOT ever click on "URL or HTML"; only on IMG Code;the letters themselves; then at the top of your tool bar click on "Edit"; COPY should be in bold letters; click on it. Then open this Board; open a new thread; go down to the message box and type in anything; then go down one "ENTER" space. Go back up to the "EDIT" on the tool bar and "PASTE" should be in bold letters. Click on it. WALA, your pic should be there.
