WHAT is up with Emily Heymans, the Canadian diver??? She gets to the end of the board then sticks both hands under her butt and grabs her cheeks EVERY TIME!!!!! Right on worldwide tv in front of everyone!!!
Weirdest nervous tic I've ever seen in my life.....
Also on that note, why do NONE of the women, from any country, in any sport where they wear what looks like a bathing suit, not pull their WEDGIES out? Every single woman athlete....diver, swimmer, gymnast, volleyball player, every SINGLE one of them.....has their bottoms riding up their bum with tush hanging out, and I have yet to see a single one attempt to correct the situation. I'm not a prude in any sense of the word, in fact I'm quite admiring of their finely tuned buns, but I am SO tired of looking at bare buttcheeks.....

Oh you CAN'T POSSIBLY miss it, she grabs the bottom of her cheeks and it LOOKS like she pulls them apart a little. SO GROSS.
But seriously, yes sex sells, but how did ALL the female athletes get the memo "Hey this year we're gonna all walk around with uncomfortable-looking wedgies. Please don't fix them, even if you're about to do a very athletic routine where you need to concentrate." I can tell you, if I were competing in the Olympics, the LAST thing I'd want would be my bare butt, no matter how beautiful it might be, hanging out for the ENTIRE world to see. And I CERTAINLY wouldn't stick my fingers up in it at the exact moment that the entire world was watching me!

I mean it, I watched the preliminaries and am now watching Round 4 from last night, I've seen her do it on EVERY SINGLE dive, at least 10 times. Right when she gets to the end of the board before she starts her dive. Very very weird.

Haven't really been watching the diving, but I watched a lot of gymnastics and dind't see a lot of these wedgies. They use spray glue to prevent that. Same with figure skaters.

I don't see HOW you couldn't see it! Their bottoms were scrunched up with fabric bagging at the edges. And big hunks of butt muscle hanging out the bottom.
I could understand having a wedgie at the end of your performance, things move around. But they would have their bottoms scrunched halfway up their cheeks before they even started. In previous years (I watch a LOT of gymnastics) they would adjust the backs of their suits right before starting. Not ladylike, but more ladylike than having everything hang out. This is the first time EVER that I haven't seen a single one attempt to pull the fabric out of their bums.

I saw that Emilie lady..
you are right.. she tugs at her suit..
if you notice she is a bit 'larger' woman..
larger muscular t highs... heavier legs..
I think her suit is cut too small and she is tugging to cover her buns!!

It didn't look to me like she was tugging her suit, it looked to me like she was tugging her CHEEKS. And she does it every time, at the same point on the board. Isn't that the STRANGEST nervous tic ever?  |

First .. she tugs at the suit.. then she lays her hands on her butt cheeks.. I think it is part of her ... getting ready.. her warm up.. just like the other athletes. They all have those weird little routines. But.. your observation.. does give me a chuckle  |
