Today I did good. I ate a bit of cream of wheat in the morning for brekkie, added some honey to sweeten it, and gagged at how it tasted... tossed it out. :S got to work, and they had bagels for snack with herb and garlic cream cheese... gah, my favorite... so I made one, but put it aside to have with my soup at lunch. so didn't snack on anything. for lunch, I had, my campbell's soup at hand, creamy tomatoe soup, and a grapefruit. ate half the bagel, and couldn't finish the other half. Snack was bits and bites and oranges, so I had an orange with the kids. I ended up tossing my cookies at work... we have the flu bug hitting the rooms and it nailed me. My nice dinner I had planned, is now replaced with peanut butter on toast, and water.. if I manage to stop tossing my cookies.. man.... ugh.

They say if you reach for sugars, you may be feeling depressed. If you reach for soft and sweet foods (like ice cream) you may be anxious. Stressed seems to call for salty foods (an adrenal mechanism, if I remember.) Wow and I always thought it was because I was low on Vit C or something when I wanted something sweet. It was really hard to be at moms yesterday-she has candy EVERYWHERE in that house. Thank God for Skinny Cows.

I'm still doing well. Snack at home group was Fritos & nacho cheese dip; fresh veggies & dip. Fritos were baked, so pretty low in fat. I had some - maybe a bit much cheese dip, but I had saved up 3 "fats" (15 grams) and the chips were only 3 grams. I also had a few carrots & pieces of cauliflower - no dip with the veggies. All in all, I came in under on everything except veggies today. Actually probably underate a tad, but maybe not with the velvetta in the dip. Also not quite enough fruit today - didn't eat my clementine oranges.

Wooohooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5.2 lbs this week! (This is my third week, and my last free for all before I have to stick within the 2 lbs a week at most limit). So that makes a total in three weeks of 13.4 lbs.
Not that I'm excited or anything. :-)
