I kinda made this up as I went, and it turned out really good and Hubby says I have to make it more often.
I'm not going to give amounts, just use what you need for your family. I used about a pound and a half of hamburger and *enough* macaroni and it was more than enough for 2 adults and a 4 year old.
Ingredients: hamburger taco seasoning macaroni Mexican cheese (I buy it shredded at the store, it's 4 or 5 cheeses and seasoning) taco sauce and/or salsa Tortilla chips optional: tomatoes or other veggies you like
Brown the hamburger, drain, add taco seasoning according to directions. Boil the macaroni and drain (doesn't have to be compeltely done, as it will go in the oven for a bit) Stir together with as much of the cheese as you want Spray a large enough baking dish to hold it all, pour it in and spread out. Top with whatever veggies you like Cover and bake for about 30-40 minutes, I set the oven at 350. Uncover, sprinkle with more cheese, and leave in oven until cheese melts Serve over tortilla chips with taco sauce or salsa. Sour cream is good too. Whatever you like.
This came out REALLY good and we loved it. It's pretty simple to make too.

I'm getting better. I only compeltely ruin dinner a couple times a month now, as opposed to a couple times a week! LOL! Hubby usually still eats it though, even if I won't.

A good husband will eat disasterous meals with a smile because it's still better then having to cook themselves!

And in my hubby's case, it's better than truckstop food and McDonald's that he's been eating all week! He's a very good cook, but will eat nearly anything I make. I think there's been only once or twice in nearly 6 years that he's not eaten when I made. And I didn't eat it either! We've had a couple times of "Umm....that didn't work so well.......want to order pizza?" LOL!
