I heard of “a dish that makes Krispy Kream Donuts even BETTER!” I was THRILLED to find that this arcane rumor was TRUE! What makes this recipe especially nutritious is except for the rum glaze: There is NO ADDED SUGAR! (I also sell a line of packaged cold cuts that tastes GREAT and are “100% Fat FREE!” I don’t charge for the fat . . . it’s FREE!)
Krispy Kream Bread Pudding
2 Dozen plain glazed Krispy Kream Donuts, cut into small chunks 2 beaten eggs 1 can SWEETENED condensed milk 1 can of fruit cocktail WITH the juice 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly. Place the combined mix into a large casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until the center of the desert doesn’t jiggle too much.
While HOT from the oven; drizzle on the rum souce.
Rum sauce 1 stick of butter (melted) 1 pound of confection sugar Just enough rum to make the mix like slightly runny paste 88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 This is a WONDERFUL bread pudding. I did post it on the recipe side too. I just didn’t want anyone to miss this!
