This might be weird since I'm 35 but this was the year I tried eggplant for the very first time, I made eggplant parmegiana- it was so-so...I could take it or leave it. I tried spaghetti squash, again- take it or leave it....and I tried coleslaw- now that was a winner!!! I get that all the time now,,,,how about you?

I tried fried okra when we in N. Carolina visiting my brother. It tasted pretty much like any other fried veggie. I'm not a fan of eggplant or squash or mushrooms or sushi.

I like sushi, fried okra is pretty good, eggplant is iffy. I will eat it if I am not sure what it is. I don't do mushrooms. Blech!!! Squash is questionable. I like some coleslaws, I am pretty fussy when it comes to coleslaw. My guy friend told me he would try sushi if I would eat a mushroom. I havn't pushed the issue much. ;D

Not a sushi eater, but loff eggplant parmagiana. Try making it with zucchini instead of eggplant, even better!

Eggplant has to be prepared just right to be really good, and when it is, it is the BEST! Chris, you must like moussaka? I make it from time to time.
I loff sushi, eggplant, mushrooms, okra, all that jazz, heck I even eat octopus, squid and SEA URCHIN (had it fresh (raw) on the pier in Ios, Greece, the fisherman all thought I was the *best*) - nothing I won't try, even calf fries, but haven't had the opportunity to try anything new this year.

Oh! I tried Saganaki (sp)! It was cheese on fire at a Greek Restaurant and it was fantastic! Wish I knew how to make it!
