I'm really dredging my mind here LOL.
Shrimp Scampi
Shrimp peeled and deveined with tail on
Real butter
Minced garlic
1 lemon
rice
salt and pepper
Cook your rice as usual. In the meantime heat butter in a skillet add shrimp and garlic cook until shrimp are done. (they will turn pink about 3 minutes per side) Squeeze lemon juice in the pan. Serve over cooked rice.
Cabinet Vegetable Beef Soup
1 ½ pound ground chuck
1 can each, whole kernel corn, cut green beans, diced tomatoes, beef stock, tomato sauce(small can)
Garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste
Brown ground chuck, dip out of the fat and into large soup pot. Add everything else and bring to a boil. Boil 3 to 5 minutes then turn down to low and simmer another 30 minutes or so.
Peanut Butter Balls
Peanut butter
Maple syrup or pancake syrup
Powdered sugar
I don’t measure this so you will have to guess. Mix peanut butter and a little syrup together then add powdered sugar til stiff enough to roll into balls. Serve. My first grade teacher made these for us. Her name was Miss Miller.
