Okay so my horses have been on flax seed for 2 yrs it's about time I am too! *lol* I just don't think I can eat plain ground up flax seed like they do!
Any one have reciopes? What about flax seed, raisn honey muffins instead of raisn bran muffins?

I don't usually cook with flax seed, but do you know you can just add it to recipes you already make? Throw it in your yogurt, sprinkle it on your cereal, add it to cookies, muffins, breads, etc. I'd guess you could also mix it into stuffing and top veggie sautes with it too.
Ever had gomasio? I bet it could be done with flax seed.

I don't grind the horse's flax seed anymore--they get it whole. And while I am feeding them, and giving some flax seed to my dwarf rabbit (he LOVES the stuff) I am eating it right out of the 50# sack along with everyone else. The stuff is delicious plain. There is no reason you couldn't put it into bread products. It is also good mixed into oatmeal. It would also be good sprinkled onto a green salad (whole flax, not ground.) It would be a nice addition to salsa and would be awesome mixed into flour tortilla shells, if you make your own. The whole flax is unbelievably tasty--try some. Linda
