Tricia, how old are the kids again? I've got a bunch of nice clothes in sizes 7-10 that JOhn has outgrown.

Thanks so much for letting us know how it's going, Tricia. And once the original excitement wears off, and the grind starts in, please let us know. We want to help in any way we can, even if it's just to pray for you.

What beautiful children! It breaks my heart to read this story, and BLESS you for being there for them!
Happy Birthday to Amanda.... I bet she'll actually adore being a "big sister." Maybe she'll see this as a kind of a gift.

What an awful mess--Tricia, I'm really sorry you have to deal with this, but you did the right thing, absolutely.
Although you can give your mother advice, don't be surprised if she doesn't take it (about giving them money and so on). You can't control her any more than you can control your sister. The main thing is to do the best you can for yourself and the children, and let the other people do what they have to do.
Considering the threats "C" has been making, you might want to talk to the police as well, see if you can get any protection for yourself and the children, or at least let them know that threats have been made.
Good luck, and you have my admiration for your courage and generosity.

I'm glad things are working out okay. You guys will continue to be in my prayers.
Congratulations to Amanda!! I remember the days of getting my first license. Now Amanda needs to keep up with my track record of 0 tickets and 0 accidents from the age of 16 to 21 ;D Hopefully that record will continue until I die... LOL

Awesome, Tricia! I'm glad things seem to be working out and I truly do hope Misty and C get back on track.
I have a box packed up and ready to go out once I get it taped up and addressed. A couple pairs of pants, several shirts, a jean jacket, a couple pullovers (one corduroy and one fleece, I think), some underwear and a few pairs of socks and a couple small toys. As/if I find more stuff, I'll send it later; I just don't want to hold this package up since you may need the clothing that's in there before I can gather more together. I think I have a lot packed away and I have to find it! I probably even have some shoes I can send for Bray, though they'd be a bit more worn than the clothes are (we don't stint on shoes for the boys; I probably have a couple pairs of Stride Right shoes I can send that should fit Bray later if they're too big now).
I wish I had some little girl clothes for Katie but maybe I can find something to send along for her; if so, I'll tuck it in the package. I plan to go to the post office tomorrow morning to send it out.
