Good morning Charlie!! I am in such a good mood because we have SNOW!!!! Unfortunately it makes my Lacey look so dirty! LOL I am not breeding my two. I got Teal'c (4 year old netuered black male) as a puppy from that kennel. Two years later I wanted an adult dog for company for Teal'c. So I talked to the breeder and she agreed to give me Lacey (who was six at the time, and a breeding dog, I was her retirement home) for free. I never did spay her (for health reasons, she has been through two major surgeries since I have had her and I do not want to put her through another one. She is 9 after all! Teal'c was my first GSD. I absolutely adore the breed!! I was lucky that I got a very well bred GSD from a very reputable kennel, so he is everything that the GSD should be: loyal, playful, social, smart, trusting, protective, strong, brave, and a complete and utter mommas boy!, with a bit of OCD about his toys thrown in for good measure! Lacey is, well, we like to say that she was bred for her looks, not her brains, bless her. Very sweet dog, but not too high on the smart scale, and is a bit wary of strangers and very sensitive about being a bad girl! Which happens very often. She is very pretty, but the most disgusting dog I have ever met! She rolls in dead animals, eats dead animals, eats Teal'cs poop, eats her own poop, burps, farts, and is constantly dirty!! But I would not change her for the world! Those are my two doggies in a nutshell!

;D ;D ;D ;D That is so funny!! my charlie thou does roll in dead animals, yulk! I gag on that smell everything you mentioned is why I fell in love with this breed... Charlie, thou is a one of a kind (old soul) is what I like to call him, he's calm, never jumps on people (thou he thinks he's a cat he'll rub up against you and get white hair all over, lol) he doesn't lick at all, which I've never had a pooch not lick, but no matter how hard you try to get him to he just won't! and the best part is he doesn't Pee on tires!!! never has and I don't think he ever will... and very loyal to me as well, he hears every move I make and is right by my side, which is what I wanted in him as a protecter as I'm home alone a lot.... Now for the Snow thing, Shut-Up LOL!!!! we have No snow, it's Jan. 6th and NO snow! this is so not the norm for MN. I want snow so bad! it makes things look so much cleaner..... Thanks for sharing your shepherds with me! Have a Great day!
