I sold Jaxon a year ago to a guy who does team hitches... and I got the call a few days ago that Jaxon no longer fits his program (size color stride matching issues) and if I want him back. Of course.... like I need another horse!

He sure is a pretty mover and must look absolutely awesome pulling a cart. And you have him back with a year of more training and exposure to new things.

Now, new pics of him working. You need a cart ride.

He looks wonderful, Sheryl! And R4F is right; more training, more miles, more experience, you win. You'll have to tell us how he works for you.

I love this little guy! i ponied him off Buster on Saturday and it is like the good ole days... he wants to go way faster than Buster does. It makes me sad, Buster is having heart issues so he can't sustain a faster speed and he is the best horse in the world to take on a gallop! Anyway, i have decided that Jaxon needs to grow back a forelock, but his mane and tail were always kinda crappy so i think I should trim/roach just like they did for the racing. I was telling a girlfriend that I need to committ to this driving thing.. or not. There are just so few places to do it and the current cart I have for him is too big, doesn't fit in my trailer (with a horse) etc. If I am gonna actually drive i need to find people and places for it. I am a pretty confident rider these days, but not so much as a driver. I think I just need to get over it because Jaxon never ever does anything wrong - he is a good boy - just forward!

Wow he turned out fancy. Glad he called you, even if it does not works out for you to drive, you can control somewhat his next home.

Agree with the others about at least being able to control his next home.
Wow, he turned out awesome! Being in that program gave him tons of extra training and experience. If you do resell, he might bring a great price with his new resume.
I only wish I could drive again. I sold both carts but still have Cookie's harness. The roads by the stable are too busy to even consider that. I have toyed with the idea of buying a small ee-pipe cart or sulky & working Cookie in the arenas. Better than nothing and it might make her happy.
