I finally got a video of the crow talking. Every time I take the camera out, she stops. I've been trying to get this video for months. She is saying "Hello" and "Good bird", although sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. I am used to hearing them and could tell early on that she was trying to say "good bird". Other times she says it more clearly than you hear on the video, but I think you can understand her.... sort of.... www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10204870301310656&set=vb.1633230055&type=2&theater

Her Hello" is very clear. And the "good bird" is coming right along. What kinds of things does she do when she is out of her cage to get herself in trouble?

That is too cool. My daughter would love to have a bird but with all that goes on in our house and all the other pets I am afraid the bird would just get lonely. She tries to make friends with the Cockatoo out at the barn but she only likes a few people and my daughter is not one of them. She can be quite nasty and bite I get along with her and will take her out but it just frustrates my daughter that she can't "play" with her. She has talked about a cockatiel or even a parakeet but so far she has not had any luck convincing her father ( or me either). Maybe when she gets a bit older and starts to show more responsibility with the ones we have. I am forever reminding her that her animals need to be fed, or walked, or cleaned up after....it's a tough job!!

Very cool! Funny thing when I first read your post I thought you wrote that your "cow" was saying hello!
