Before I got him, Tanza had a big allergic skin reaction to Zonk-it fly spray. In October he got a bunch of hives on his face and neck here, and they were lingering on and on too.
It was driving me crazy wondering what set him off so I had blood drawn to be sent to UT vet school for allergy testing but I also went DOH a couple weeks ago and put him on the omega-3 flax based supplement I use for Sadie when she gets her raised hair reaction in summer. I don't feed him separate every day so all the horses in his pen have gotten some.
The last of Tanza's hive bumps have cleared up and all 4 horses getting the Omega shine are showing some surprising gloss in their fuzzy winter hair.
