I know the scales say I have lost 110 pounds since the last time I remember weighing myself before my surgery, but I just haven't seen it. Today I put on my jeans in preparation for the farrier to come and was able to pull them 6+ inches out away from me! NOW I am beginning to believe the scales. I am now in a pair of jeans I haven't been able to get into for over 4 years! I leave tomorrow for another appointment in Atlanta with Dr Galloway. He has scheduled surgery for the 13th of November to 'rework' the holes left when the dead skin sloughed off.

Very impressive! Unfortunately, not the way you had planned for all of this to work. So you are feeling well enough to go outside while the farrier is at your place?

I just sit in a chair while Mom holds horses for him. He is a good friend and I would hate to miss seeing him!

Awesome, although I'm sorry it happened this way. Sitting outside with the horses will do wonders for your healing

So good to hear from you - very impressive weight loss, though I know that's not what you planned. As Dorothy says, being out with your horse and farrier has got to be doing you a lot of good

That is a lot of weight...so I guess good for you...sorry that you have had such a rough patch that contributed to the weight loss. I am glad you are on the up side of the ordeal and will be able to continue the weight loss and more importantly FEEL BETTER! I really pray that the remainder of surgeries and doctor visits are completely uneventful. And really..there is nothing better than hanging out with the horses and the farrier

Wow!!! Impressive!!! Not the way you wanted it to happen, but that is in the past now. I see some shopping in your future...I went to thrift stores while I was dropping sizes. Its a lot easier to let go of the bigger sized jeans when you only pay 5 bucks for them. And those big T shirts are great for sleeping, though your married right? Perhaps its time to try on some lingerie? That is fun too in a new slimmer body. You go girl!!
