(((HUGS))) I'm so sorry you've had such a rough week. Both Zulu and Super had long lives, but they were special souls and it will take some time to fill the holes in your heart.

I am so sorry. You gave him a wonderful end of life. You let him be "him" again and he thanked you every day by being the horse he was. No matter how much you anticipate the end it always comes as a huge blow. And to lose two so close together is really tough (((hugs))).

You restored Super's faith in people. You gave him some wonderful years. He could never have asked for more. (((HUGS))) You will think of him when you get a sudden cold rain and if you need to be there to blanket him. He will always live in your heart.
PS--Lady is the only horse small enough for those blankets. Send them on to R4F.

I'm sorry to hear your loss. But as stated before, you showed him love and happiness these past years. And he will live in your hearts forever.
If R4F does not want the blankets, let me know what size they are. Emirah may be the right size for them. She went off her feed last week for 4 days and lost all the weight she had gained. Vet said she stressed out and diarrhea. She we are back to square one with her. vet changed her fed and we will start again.

Poor Emirah. Perhaps she got so skinny not from being starved, but has some health issue and previous owner didn't know how/or care enough to fix the problem when just giving her adequate feed for a normal horse was not enough.
You can sure have the turnout if it will fit. Lady has a good fat layer and is growing a fine winter coat + has the shed so she can stay dry on the rare wet days here. E can probably use extra help getting through a wet FL winter.

I am glad he had someone to love him in his final years. It is too bad that you could not be there with him but at least your last memory with him is a happy one.

I am sorry for your loss. You were there in the end as other said and restored his trust in some people. What would his end have been like had you not done this and he got cast? It's nice that when his time came it was still nice weather and he was feeling good. Happy trails and green pastures Super on the other side of the rainbow.

Awwww I am so sorry to hear about Super and Zulu. How heartbroken you must be You showed Suoer a life he probably thought he would never have again .... Love and kindness that had been missing from his life. There is a special place for people like you Let me know what size the blankets are too... My old guy is 35 and on the upswing of a rough patch. I am nervous of the upcoming WI winter . He has one good blanket but I might need to double blanket him

I am so sorry about Super and Zulu. It is so hard to lose just one, but to lose two so close together, I cannot even imagine.
Like others have said, I am so grateful you all "found" Super and showed him how good life can be for the last few years!
